FLOOD INSURANCE: WHEN IT’S REQUIRED
Who needs this coverage to qualify for a TWIA policy? To be eligible for TWIA windstorm insurance, some properties must also be covered by flood insurance (which TWIA does not provide). TWIA strongly recommends all policyholders purchase flood insurance. However, it is only required when certain conditions are met. Visit TWIA to learn more.

Remember to always ask your contractor about windstorm permit requirements. If you are having work on your roof, doors or windows – double check to make sure permits have been applied for and that inspections are completed and reported.
